APPLICATION

These flame retardant and antistatic hoses are equivalent to 4SP hoses produced according to EN 856.

They are characterized by very high working pressures and definitely greater flexibility then 4SP hoses, which makes them extremely comfortable to apply to tight spaces.

These MSHA approved hoses are designed for power and run-off installations of machines and devices operating under high pressure in underground mines with methane and coal dust explosion hazard.

They may be used for:
– hydraulic liquids in accordance with ISO 6743-4, except for HFD R, HFD S, HFD T (from -40°C to +100°C),
– water solutions (from -40°C to +70°C),
– water (from 0°C to +70°C),
– compressed air (from 0°C to +80°C).

These hoses are not suitable for liquids containing castor oil and esters.

Working pressures
From 210 to 420 bar depending on diameter.

Operating temperature
From -40°C to +100°C
Briefly to +125°C

CONSTRUCTION
According to Stomil’s design ZN-5/13/BZPG.

Inner tube
Oil and water-resistant black synthetic rubber.

Reinforcement
Three braids of high tensile steel wire.

Cover
Flame retardant, antistatic, abrasion, oil, weather and ozone resistant black synthetic rubber.

CERTIFICATES

MSHA approval confirming the use of hoses in underground mines.
